Dolly Baby Face | Step-By-Step Guide

Dolly Baby Face Makeup Tutorial

When applying makeup to create the look, it is important to keep in mind that simplicity and minimalism is the key. I am going to write down the steps on how to create a dolly baby face look using makeup!

1. Apply primer thinly. The first thing you need to do is to apply your primer thinly all over your face as a prep for foundation.

2. Apply foundation to cover problem areas. Use your foundation to cover the flaws on your face. This will make your face look flawless.

3. Use concealer to cover problem areas or dark eye circles. By using a concealer brush, conceal any dark circles found under your eyes, black pores on your nose and acne.

4. Apply loose foundation powder. With a powder brush, lightly apply your translucent foundation powder for your under eyes, chin and your T-zone area.

5. Apply blush to your cheeks. Swipe some blush beneath your eyes. Remember to dab off excess from your brush so you won't end up looking like a clown!

6. Minimal eye-lining. Use eyeliner to line only on the corner of your eyes. This will create a doll-like effect.

7. Stick false lashes only on the second half of eyes. Put false lashes thinly on your eyelashes. Avoid using long and dramatic false lashes.

8. Stick eyelashes slightly downwards. Slightly slant eyelashes downwards, towards the shape of the corner of the eyes during application to achieve dolly eyes effect.

9. Line the corner of the lower eyelid. Similar to step 6, line around 1/5 of your eye area using eye shadow.

10. Blend with mascara. Apply mascara generously to blend lashes together with false lashes.

11. Lighter eyebrow shades for softer look. Draw on eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil and avoid drawing edges to get natural looking brows.

12. Smooth out the eyebrow. Smooth the eyebrow flow with wand-type, brush lightly towards the growth of the hair.

13. Achieve it with only clear lip gloss. Apply clear lip gloss to complete the look. Opt for a lip gloss with red tint if clear gloss causes a pale look.

14. Highlight the high points of face. Apply brown highlighter on forehead approximately 1 cm below hairline emphasizing on the shape of the head.

And that's about it! Hope you enjoy your dolly makeup look!
